Groundbreaking design
ECCO Design’s Eric Chan was recognized for his groundbreaking work on Wipro Furniture’s new “I CAN” premium chair. Wipro Furniture, part of the Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting business unit in India, commissioned Mr. Chan to research and design an office chair that would suit the unique demands and culture of a large international Indian company that places a high premium on design and sophistication. The chair is noted for preventing fatigue from traditional office work that requires long hours in the same position.
Prevent fatigue
The result of Mr. Chan’s work has been highly acclaimed and has “raised the bar for our Chair product range significantly” according to Wipro’s President Mr. Vineet Agrawal. The chair is now widely used throughout India and has been a big success for Wipro’s Furniture Business unit.
