A new type of boxing glove
Super Brand EVERLAST and ECCO Design collaborated to develop a new type of Boxing Glove.
By interviewing professional boxers, trainers and physicians, the ECCO team learned that one of the most common causes for hand injuries in boxing came from over-wrenching the wrist. To prevent this sprain, the ECCO team designed extra protection around the cuff inspired by the Japanese fencing armor KOTE.
Preventative design
The Glove also features perforated inner fabric to prevent hand sweating along with quick tie gloves lace for fast lacing and an in-hand soft grip-rod to prevent fingers from additional pressure.
